About the Family

A quiet and loving family in San Francisco, CA (94109) is seeking a compassionate, long-term nanny to join their household as soon as possible. The family is expecting a newborn (EDD May 20th) and has a 6-year-old who attends school during the day. The primary focus of this role is newborn care and support, with occasional engagement of the older child in the afternoons.

Both parents work from home and are collaborative partners in their children's care. The family values a calm, respectful, and nurturing home environment and uses non-toxic products and practices throughout.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM 28 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care focused on each child's safety, well-being, and development
• Offer primary newborn support, including feeding routines, soothing, and daily care
• Assist with light household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry while the older child is at school (supplies provided)
• Occasionally monitor and care for the newborn while parents step out for errands or appointments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment using non-toxic practices and products

Requirements

• Prior newborn care experience required
• Comfortable working in a home where both parents are present
• Must be fully vaccinated: TDAP, TB, COVID-19, Flu, MMR, Chickenpox, and Hepatitis B
• Open to collaborative communication with the family

Compensation and Benefits

• $40-45/hr DOE
• Mileage reimbursement provided
