Nanny (Private Educator a plus)

Full-Time Nanny / Education-Focused – Branford, CT
Compensation: $35-40/hour DOE
Schedule: 40 hours a week

A warm and engaged family in Branford is seeking a full-time nanny with a strong educational focus to support their two children. The role centers primarily on their 8-year-old, who is a 2E child (twice exceptional) and is homeschooled.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting learning in creative, flexible ways and be comfortable overseeing third-grade-level academics, either independently or in collaboration with outside educational professionals. The 15-year-old, requires minimal oversight.

The family has dogs/cats

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and supporting 8 year olds daily homeschool and educational needs
• Using creative, engaging strategies to support learning and emotional regulation
• Providing nurturing, structured childcare
• Light household management related to the children

Schedule & Travel:
This is a full-time position. There may be travel once per year for a 1–2 week family vacation which will be discussed in advance to ensure it works for everyone.
