Nanny/babysitter

A reputed business family is seeking a well-educated, experienced, and responsible Governess/Nanny to provide comprehensive care, supervision, and age-appropriate educational support for two children. The role requires a nurturing, disciplined, and professional individual who can contribute positively to the children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Supervision

• Ensure the safety, well-being, and daily care of both children always

• Maintain a structured daily routine including wake-up, meals, study, play, and bedtime

• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities

Educational Support

• Assist with homework, school assignments, and learning activities

• Encourage good study habits, reading, and age-appropriate skill development

• Coordinate with tutors, teachers, and parents as required

Behavioral & Emotional Development

• Foster good manners, discipline, and social etiquette

• Provide emotional support and guidance in a calm, patient manner

• Promote values such as respect, responsibility, and independence

Health & Hygiene

• Oversee children’s personal hygiene, grooming, and cleanliness

• Monitor health, diet, and sleep schedules

• Inform parents immediately in case of illness or emergencies

Meal & Activity Coordination

• Assist with children’s meals (feeding supervision / coordination with kitchen staff)

• Plan and engage children in creative, educational, and recreational activities

• Accompany children for outings, classes, or travel if required

Communication & Reporting

• Provide daily updates to parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and needs

• Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate or trained in childcare, early education, or related field (preferred)

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a governess or nanny with private families

• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)

• Calm, patient, well-mannered, and trustworthy

• Strong sense of responsibility and discretion

• Non-smoker, medically fit
