A busy and welcoming family in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a proactive, warm, and highly organized Family Assistant to help manage household operations and provide attentive care for their three children (ages 13, 11, and 8). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing childcare with household support in a dynamic family environment.

ScheduleSummer: Full-time, 40 guaranteed hours per week (Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)School Year: Part-time, 25 guaranteed hours per week (Mon–Fri 2:00 PM–7:00 PM) with a focus on school pickup, driving to activities, meal prep, and homework support. Occasional date nights and weekends may be requested.

Compensation & Benefits$25–$30 per hour to start

2 weeks paid vacation

4 paid sick days

Occasional travel with the family

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for the children
• Manage after-school routines including homework support
• Drive children to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Plan engaging activities, outings, and day trips during school breaks

Family Assistant Duties

• Help manage family schedules, appointments, and events
• Run errands and grocery shop
• Assist with light household tasks related to the children and home
• Help keep daily family logistics running smoothly

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
