Nanny/Sitter

Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety, and creating a positive, engaging environment. This role involves assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to support the well-being of the children and the household.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, learning, and outdoor activities
• Ensure children's safety at all times, following safety protocols and first aid procedures when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
• Assist with diapering, bathing, dressing, and other daily care routines for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning related to childcare duties
• Support children's educational development through teaching activities and preschool exercises
• Work with children with special needs or disabilities as required, providing compassionate and tailored care
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns

Skills

• Experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying with a strong understanding of child development
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR to handle emergencies confidently
• Ability to prepare meals and snacks suitable for children’s nutritional requirements
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with disabilities is preferred
• Skills in teaching, caregiving, and engaging children through creative activities
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare responsibilities
• Patience, compassion, reliability, and excellent communication skills are essential for building trust with families

Pay: $48,085.79 - $57,909.77 per year
