National Account Executive – Newsletters Ad Sales

We’re seeking an experienced National Account Executive to drive sponsorship revenue for two of our fastest-growing and most influential products.

• The Current – Kim’s flagship newsletter reaching over 500,000 engaged readers
• Splash of AI – One of the fastest-growing AI newsletters in America, reaching over 500,000 subscribers

You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with agencies, brands, and senior marketing decision-makers to create strategic partnerships that generate measurable outcomes.

Reporting Structure

• This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Global Partnerships

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and develop relationships with national advertisers and agencies
• Sell sponsorships within The Current and Splash of AI newsletters
• Develop proposals, presentations, and strategic recommendations
• Negotiate and close new business opportunities
• Manage and grow long-term client relationships
• Consistently exceed revenue goals

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of media, digital, newsletter, sponsorship, or advertising sales experience
• Proven success selling to national advertisers and agencies
• Strong consultative sales skills
• Experience developing and closing six-figure advertising partnerships
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Bonus Points For

• Newsletter advertising sales experience
• Digital media sales experience
• Technology, AI, cybersecurity, or SaaS advertising experience
• Existing agency and advertiser relationships

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers significant earning potential through a competitive base salary and uncapped commission structure. Starting at $45,000-$55,000 + Commission
