We are seeking a National Online Furniture Sales Consultant for our Santa Ana showroom. This is not a traditional customer service role, nor is it solely an e-commerce sales position. It is a high-performance hybrid role focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences while converting online inquiries into sales.

The Role: National Online Furniture Sales Consultant (Sales Role - Not E-Commerce Operations or Website Management)

This role is heavily focused on digital client engagement, customer satisfaction, and online sales conversion while also supporting walk-in showroom clients as needed.

Customer Experience Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email, chat, text, and virtual consultations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their purchasing journey
  • Resolve customer concerns, questions, and service issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Build long-term relationships through proactive communication and personalized support
  • Create a luxury, white-glove experience that exceeds customer expectations
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery coordination, and post-purchase support

Digital Sales & Lead Conversion

  • Manage inbound online inquiries through phone, email, chat, and virtual consultations
  • Convert e-commerce traffic into closed sales through relationship building, quoting, and follow-up
  • Create and send quotes, payment links, and product recommendations
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations
  • Educate customers on products, customization options, delivery timelines, and after-sales support
  • Maintain consistent communication throughout the customer journey, from inquiry through delivery
  • Follow up on open quotes and abandoned opportunities to maximize conversion rates
  • Balance sales goals with an exceptional customer experience approach

Virtual Design Consulting

  • Assist clients with furniture selections, customization options, room layouts, and styling recommendations
  • Create mood boards, floor plans, or design presentations to support purchasing decisions
  • Provide white-glove customer service for high-value clients nationwide

Pipeline & Relationship Management

  • Manage a high volume of active leads and customer conversations simultaneously
  • Utilize CRM systems and e-commerce platforms to track sales activity and follow-ups
  • Develop repeat and referral business through exceptional client service
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up schedules

Showroom Support

  • Assist walk-in clients with luxury furniture consultations and sales
  • Support showroom merchandising standards and product presentation
  • Maintain organization of samples, swatches, and product materials

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales results. The ideal candidate is as comfortable resolving customer concerns and building relationships as they are closing sales through virtual or in-person consultations.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, customer success, luxury retail, furniture sales, e-commerce sales, hospitality, interior design sales, or other customer-facing consultative sales environments
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service while achieving sales goals
  • Experience handling customer inquiries, concerns, and service recovery situations
  • Proven ability to close sales and meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Proven track record of building long-term customer relationships

E-Commerce & Technical Skills

  • Experience handling online leads, digital customer communication, or remote sales
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, Google Workspace, and video conferencing tools
  • Strong follow-up and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and priorities simultaneously

Communication & Client Experience

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help and support clients
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to build trust with high-end clientele through polished, professional interactions
  • Comfortable handling objections, pricing discussions, and complex customer situations
  • Ability to remain professional and empathetic when handling customer concerns
  • Experience delivering premium or luxury-level customer experiences preferred

Design & Product Knowledge

  • Passion for luxury interiors, furniture, and design trends
  • Ability to assist with product styling, room layouts, and design recommendations
  • Mood board or floor planning experience is a plus

Schedule & Reliability

  • Available to work 5 days per week, including Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
