National Parts Manager

Summary:

To oversee, guide and provide support to the parts departments at company stores and managing the central warehouse operation. Review and optimize purchasing and stocking patterns to increase inventory and purchasing efficiencies, expanding a central supply system thru automated restocking and a central distribution facility. Maintaining and managing the company employed ERP system to facilitate correct and updated parts & stocking information.

Essential functions:

To stock, order and ship parts used in maintaining the motor home fleet

To maintain records of parts transactions; reconciling orders & deliveries; cost tracking

To create & maintain parts lists for vehicles in the fleet

Maintaining damage cost manual for use at branch locations

Assisting in creation of an inventory and centralized ordering system

Remuneration:

· Starting salary is $4,325.00/month; with extra qualifications and experience up to $5,199.00/month (Exempt)

Education:

· High school diploma/equivalency or higher required; bachelor-equivalent preferred

Qualifications:

· Possession of current California State driver’s license

· Fluent in English – in speech and in writing; additional languages a plus

· Experienced in computer use and familiar with word processing & spreadsheets; experience with Microsoft Office365 applications and Dynamics365 a plus

· Good writing and communication skills

· Must be detail oriented and organized and a lateral thinker

· Able to multi-task and do simple math without a calculator

· RV parts or technical background a great plus

· Warehousing experience a plus

Physical Demands:

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

· Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods

· Ability to bend, kneel, squat and climb stairs

· Climb up and down ladder and off elevated surfaces

Work Environment:

· Generally, an office environment, but may have to work in a warehouse environment

· May occasionally work in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 40 degrees

· May work on uneven or slippery surfaces

· May be required to travel to company store locations

· Tele work (working from home) for part of the work week is possible

Pay: $4,325.00 - $5,199.00 per month

Schedule:

· 8-hour shift

· Day shift

· Holidays (not expected to work Holidays – at least company honored ones)

· Monday to Friday

· Overtime (salaried position – no overtime)

· Weekend availability

· Management: 1 year (Preferred)

· Microsoft Dynamics 365: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: Multiple locations Main location Santa Fe Springs but may require temporarily/occasionally alternate location.
