National Sales Director - Footwear

An opportunity has come up that we are seeking a motivated National Sales Director to join and strengthen our brand partnerships.

  • Manage sales for Branded Lifestyle Division in USA
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within our market space.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with national accounts, retailers and distributors, to drive brand visibility and penetration.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall brand objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Partner with BBC Customer Service Department to confirm purchase orders and updates during the production process.
  • Prepare and organize weekly topics for sales calls.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the division assigned to you through regular sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis. In addition, prepare quarterly projections by Account with Brand Director to secure factory space with sourcing/operations.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand presence and foster relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence to continuously drive innovation and improvement.
  • Create strategy to sell the most effective merchandise mix and prepare to stock sales plan.
  • Develop a seasonal/annual business plan (by account) that outlines growth, category, distribution, and promotional objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate terms are negotiated with all new accounts and comply with licensor conditions. Follow up with customer service on all account set-ups as needed.
  • Secure purchase orders by deadline dates
  • Responsible to work with finance on credit releases so accounts are not held up
  • Monitor weekly sales and provide weekly re-caps to BBC Management
  • Actively participate in internal weekly touch base call with BBC management
  • Make recommendations to accounts/sales reps based on sales
  • Manage Inventory with each rep and management
  • Manage MAP.
  • Manage mark-down dollar requests/cancellations and prepare information for management’s evaluation.
  • Manage marketing dollars for accounts.
  • Travel is required.
  • Any other business relating to the duties as directed by Senior Executive of Global Sales.
