National Sales Manager – Molecular Diagnostics

Global Marketing Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager – Molecular Diagnostics to lead and expand sales operations for PCR-based molecular diagnostic systems and related assay solutions across Pakistan. The role requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in molecular diagnostics, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of achieving business growth in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nationwide sales activities for PCR-based molecular diagnostic platforms, laboratory automation systems, and assay solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives and national growth targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, reference labs, and research institutions.
  • Conduct high-level product presentations and demonstrations for senior stakeholders, including pathologists, microbiologists, laboratory managers, clinicians, and procurement teams.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients to ensure retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate closely with application specialists, technical teams, and regional sales staff to support product evaluations, validations, and installations.
  • Monitor and report on national sales performance, market trends, forecasts, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Mentor and guide regional or territory sales managers to strengthen team performance and achieve national targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is a strong advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in molecular diagnostics, PCR-based technologies, laboratory automation, or medical devices.
  • Proven track record of managing sales teams, achieving national targets, and driving sustainable business growth.
  • Strong understanding of PCR workflows and molecular diagnostic solutions in clinical or diagnostic laboratory environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and implement effective strategies for business expansion.
