Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair gas systems and related equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
• Perform routine maintenance compression equipment including Ariel compressors, and Caterpillar engines.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete tasks efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair natural gas compression packages.
• Perform heavy lifting safely during installation or repair tasks while following safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and repair logs for accountability and future reference.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining quality and efficiency standards, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Skills

• Understanding of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components across various machinery types.
• Experience repairing diesel engines, generators, or industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, precise measurement tooling, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• General mechanical knowledge including maintenance procedures and equipment repair processes.
• Ability to read technical manuals accurately and interpret schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments safely.
