Natural Gas Scheduler

Because of expansive growth American Power & Gas is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler to add to our technical team. This is a full-time permanent on-site role.

We have been offering Green Energy solutions to both residential and small commercial customers for over 25 years and have won the award for fastest growing company in the Tampa Bay Business Journal as well as being featured in Forbes and the Huffington Post.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily & intraday gas nominations (Timely, Evening, Intraday cycles)
• Coordinate with pipelines, LDCs, traders, and suppliers
• Monitor imbalances, OFOs, and capacity constraints
• Schedule transportation, storage, and balancing services
• Ensure compliance with tariffs, contracts, and NAESB standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of natural gas scheduling experience
• Strong knowledge of pipeline & LDC operations
• Experience with EBB systems & gas scheduling platforms
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with major pipelines (Transco, Kinder Morgan, Columbia, etc.) and LDCs across the Midwest & Northeast.
