Mitchell Chadwick LLP ("MC") is a boutique natural resources and land-use law firm and California’s foremost legal advisor to mining, energy, development, and mitigation banking companies doing business in the state.

About the Position
The firm is seeking an attorney with at least 1-4 years of land use and environmental experience to join its office in Roseville, California for an in-person position.
The ideal candidate has outstanding academic credentials, exceptional writing and research skills, ability to handle complex matters, and is committed to delivering excellent quality work in a collaborative environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate interpersonal skills, problem solving, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience with mining law, Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), real estate transactional work, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), CEQA litigation, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA), and state and federal regulatory environmental agencies is a plus. The candidate must be a member of the California Bar.
