Overview
We are seeking a licensed Naturopathic Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Associate to join a start‑up wellness center as a Clinical Director. In this role, you will combine patient care with clinical operations, program development, and business growth to establish high-quality integrative services and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical care
- Provide thorough, evidence‑informed naturopathic assessments and individualized treatment plans (nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy where permitted, lifestyle medicine, physical modalities, IV/nutritional therapy).
- Manage a diverse patient panel: hormonal health, digestive disorders, metabolic syndrome and functional medicine protocols. This role will also involve peri-operative and pre-procedural holistic optimization.
- Document clinical encounters using an electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
Clinical leadership & operations
- Develop clinical protocols, intake forms, treatment pathways, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality‑assurance measures.
- Oversee clinical workflows, patient triage, referrals, and integration with other practitioners.
- Ensure compliance with state naturopathic scope, licensing, recordkeeping, OSHA/HIPAA, and any relevant malpractice/insurance requirements.
Business development & program design
- Help design service offerings (initial consults, follow‑ups, group programs, retreats, workshops, IV/nutrient therapy, telehealth).
- Collaborate on pricing, packages, membership models, and clinical capacity planning.
- Participate in marketing strategy: community outreach, educational events, content creation (blogs, newsletters), and professional networking to attract and retain patients.
Staffing & training
- Recruit, train, and mentor clinical support staff (nurse/MA, front desk, other clinicians).
- Provide clinical education for staff and allied practitioners; run case reviews and chart rounds.
Facilities & equipment
- Advise on clinic layout, equipment needs (exam tables, lab collection, IV setup where applicable), product dispensary, and supply procurement.
- Establish relationships with labs, pharmacies, and suppliers.
Quality, metrics & finance
- Track clinical KPIs (patient satisfaction, retention, appointment utilization, outcomes) and contribute to financial targets.
- Participate in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and reporting to founders/owners.
Qualifications
Required
- Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant or Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted state naturopathic license where the clinic will operate.
- Minimum 1–3 years clinical experience preferred; start‑up experience or leadership experience highly desirable.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and basic business/financial literacy.
Preferred
- Additional certifications: functional medicine, IV/infusion therapy, nutrition
- Experience developing clinical protocols and training staff.
- Established patient referral network and community presence.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary of $120,000
