Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess their health, find the root cause of their illnesses, and provide an accurate diagnosis.
- Treatment Planning: Create personalized treatment plans that integrate Panchakarma therapies, dietary changes, and other natural remedies based on the patient's condition.
- Therapy Administration/Supervision: Administer or oversee the execution of Panchakarma treatments, which can include massages, steam baths, medicated oil applications (like abhyanga), and Virechana (purgation).
- Prescription: Prescribe appropriate medicines, herbal formulations, and other therapeutic materials needed for the treatments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatment progress.
- Counseling: Counsel patients on lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, and post-treatment care to support their holistic wellness journey.
- Clinic Management: Ensure that the treatment environment is clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary equipment, herbs, and supplies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS) or a degree in Naturopathic Medicine (ND/NMD).
- Clinical Experience: Previous clinical experience in naturopathy or integrative medicine is often required.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and understand patient health conditions accurately.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for patient communication, counseling, and collaboration with other staff.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a well-organized clinical environment.
- Empathy and Compassion: A patient-centric approach with traits like empathy, compassion, and self-discipline.
