Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NDT Technician at LEVEL II certification to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of our manufacturing processes through advanced non-destructive testing techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UT, MT, and VT that adhere to industry standards, and demonstrate exceptional mechanical and analytical skills.

Duties
- Perform all NDT methods, primarily Shear Wave in accordance with ASME codes & standards to evaluate material integrity and detect flaws or defects.
- Conduct surface inspections using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement devices to ensure components meet strict specifications.
- Utilize schematics, technical drawings, and data collection tools to analyze test results accurately and document findings thoroughly.
- Implement quality control and quality assurance procedures during manufacturing processes, focusing on surface mount technology and assembly accuracy.
- Use non-destructive testing methods to identify potential issues early, preventing costly failures or rework.
- Assist in mechanical inspections and support manufacturing teams with technical guidance on schematics, soldering, and assembly tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection data, test results, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Certification as an NDT Level II technician with expertise in ultrasonic testing Shear Wave (UTSW).
- Proven experience with surface mount technology (SMT), quality control, and quality assurance practices within manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to nondestructive testing and material evaluation.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in schematics, hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering techniques, and data collection devices.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers and calipers while adhering to safety protocols.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly, surface inspection, and quality inspection procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
