NEMT Dispatcher (Non -Emergency Medical Transportation )

About Us R2 Transportation Services is a fast-growing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider serving Southern California. We transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and gurney patients with a focus on safety, timeliness, and compassion. We’re looking for a dependable NEMT Dispatcher with experience using NEMT dispatching platforms, especially Schedule Viewer/Novus and MediRoutes.

Position Summary :

The NEMT Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily transportation schedules, monitoring real-time trip activity, communicating with drivers, ensuring on-time performance, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is in-office for the first 90 days. After that, qualifying employees may transition to a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Assign, schedule, and monitor NEMT trips in real time.

• Dispatch trips using Schedule Viewer/Novus and MediRoutes.

• Maintain communication with drivers throughout the day. • Track delays, no-shows, will-calls, cancellations, and reroutes.

• Verify trip data accuracy, mileage, timestamps, and documentation.

• Communicate professionally with facilities, case managers, and patients.

• Troubleshoot routing issues or software errors.

• Ensure compliance with company and broker guidelines. Experience Requirements NEMT Dispatching Experience (Required)

• Minimum 1 year dispatching in NEMT, transportation, logistics, or medical routing. Software Competency (Required) Schedule Viewer / Novus

• Assign and adjust live routes.

• Handle will-calls and same-day updates.

• Monitor driver progress.

• Verify completed trip data. MediRoutes

• Manage live-view routing and GPS.

• Optimize daily schedules.

• Update trip statuses.

• Track on-time performance. General Skills & Requirements

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time: 40 hours per week.

• Availability: Mornings, afternoons, rotating weekends

. • Competitive pay based on experience. • Hybrid option after 90 days
