Position Overview

As a NEMT Driver, you will ensure clients reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. This goes far beyond driving; you’ll provide exceptional service, support individuals of all backgrounds, and positively impact people’s lives every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Operate company vehicles responsibly and follow all traffic laws.
• Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous assistance and address client needs.
• Navigation: Plan and follow efficient routes for timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Vehicle Checks: Perform routine inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for trips, mileage, fuel, and required forms.
• Client Assistance: Help clients in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Compliance: Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 (insurance requirement).
• Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean driving record.
• Driving History: 36‑month clean record (no more than one incident) and no DUIs within 5 years.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Physical Ability:
• Lift up to 150 lbs
• Move 250+ lbs safely using wheelchairs or gurneys
• Screening: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid (required).
• Fingerprint Clearance Cards: Required.
