Helping Hand Transportation Services, LLC is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation company. Our business is growing and we are looking for a responsible and dedicated dispatch/fleet assistant to join our team.

SOME REMOTE WORK. MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO COME INTO THE OFFICE A FEW DAYS PER WEEK. MUST BE LOCAL TO NASHVILLE AREA.

WIL TRAIN THE RIGHT RELIABLE PERSON

Job duties include dispatching task, billing and invoicing, compliance tasks, fleet management tasks, serving as backup driver

Fleet Management Duties:

· Have the ability to load a vehicle on a trailer and tow

· Monitor vehicle maintenance needs

· Aid drivers in getting repairs completed as needed

· Perform vehicle inspections with broker as needed

· Perform compliance tasks for driver annual training

Dispatching Duties:

· These are backup duties

· Answer phones and communicate with brokers and drivers

· Develop understanding of bidding trips to obtain best routes for drivers

· Assign and dispatch routes to drivers for next day

· Answer calls from drivers

· Manage changes / cancellations and other driver issues

· Become certified driver (back-up as needed)

Dispatching and Fleet Assistant Requirements

• High school education or equivalent; preferred but not required
• Vehicle knowledge and maintenance acumen a plus
• Some dispatch experience preferred, will train the right person
• Software skills: Excel, Word, Google Maps, ability to learn other software
• Have the ability to learn other required tasks
• May consider salary position for the right person
• Flexible schedule but has on call hours

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
