NestJS Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced NestJS Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional backend development experience, with proven expertise in building and maintaining mid-to-large scale NestJS applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend services while ensuring high performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS.
• Work with MongoDB to design schemas, manage queries, and optimize performance.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to define and deliver robust APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience (must).
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS in mid-to-large scale projects.
• Proficiency in MongoDB (schema design, performance optimization, aggregation pipelines).
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend development practices.
• Experience with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, modular design, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of backend features.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
