One of our government clients is seeking an experienced part-time .NET Architect with strong project management and business analysis skills. The role involves assessing the functionality of approximately 20 custom applications and researching options for their replacement. These applications are primarily developed in C# with a SQL backend. This position requires direct collaboration with business users and subject matter experts, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Architect will regularly meet with city employees either in person or via video conferencing between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Outside of these hours, work can be completed independently with a flexible schedule. The role also requires strong workshop facilitation, communication, and documentation skills. In addition, the Architect will be responsible for directing the work of a business analyst. This opportunity is scheduled to begin in 2026, with the possibility of extension through 2027.
