.NET Developer - Full Stack

.NET Developer FTE | Cairo, Egypt | 4 Days on-site

We’re working with a very well-established organisation that’s continuing to invest in the evolution of its internal software platforms. They’re looking for a .NET Developer to join a close-knit development team and play a hands-on role in improving and modernising applications that underpin sales operations and customer management.

This role suits someone who enjoys working on real-world business systems , taking ownership of features end to end, and contributing to ongoing technical improvement rather than greenfield-only projects.

Salary: £ 650-950k EGP DOE + bonus

Package: Very competitive with transport allowance

Location: Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Working On:

Software development & enhancement:

• Designing, building, testing, and releasing new functionality across internal .NET applications
• Improving existing systems with a focus on performance, maintainability, and user experience
• Working closely with business analysts and technical leads to translate requirements into robust solutions

Platform modernisation & quality:

• Supporting the adoption and improvement of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
• Applying test-driven development (TDD) principles where appropriate
• Using tooling such as SonarCloud and Aquasec to maintain strong quality and security standards

Technical environment:

• Core development using C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and REST APIs
• Exposure to modern front-end technologies such as ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Angular, or React
• Applying solid object-oriented design , patterns, and clean code practices
• Working within a cloud environment (Azure preferred), with exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes

Collaboration & contribution:

• Working alongside developers, UX designers, product owners, and analysts
• Taking part in code reviews, shared problem-solving, and technical discussions
• Communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues

Continuous improvement:

• Contributing ideas to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Keeping up to date with developments in the .NET ecosystem and wider tooling landscape
• Taking a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2–7 years’ commercial experience working with .NET and Visual Studio
• 2-5 years of experience with Front-end Development using React ( Latest Versions )
• Strong understanding of RESTful services , clean coding standards, and documentation
• Experience using Git , Azure DevOps , or similar version control / CI tools
• Familiarity with cloud-native development principles
• Awareness of application security fundamentals and vulnerability scanning
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Confident English communication skills (written and verbal)
