NetSuite Developer
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $110,000 - 120,000
The NetSuite Developer designs, develops, and supports database-driven solutions within our NetSuite finance platform. This includes implementing and customizing financial workflows, integrations, and reporting tools while ensuring data is stored securely, accessed efficiently, and aligned with Accounting and Operations needs. The developer creates and maintains system configurations, tests and troubleshoots performance issues, and helps integrate NetSuite with other applications. They also support data structure design, documentation, user guidance, and collaborate with Finance, Technology, and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and efficient financial processes.
What you will do:
Configure and maintain NetSuite Financials, including key functions such as A/R, A/P, general ledger, payroll, and budgeting.
Build and update forms, fields, scripts, workflows, reports, dashboards, searches, and templates that support financial operations.
Support integrations between NetSuite and systems like Rippling, Paymentus, Salesforce, and other business platforms.
Develop SuiteScript solutions and system enhancements based on Finance and Operations requests.
Participate in data migration activities and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Gather requirements from Finance and translate them into practical NetSuite configurations or customizations.
Test new features and updates through unit testing, integration testing, and user testing.
Monitor NetSuite version updates and address items that could impact financial workflows.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user support for finance-related NetSuite functions.
Maintain system documentation and training materials for finance processes.
Assist with project coordination for financial system-related initiatives, including timelines and deliverables.
Ensure financial system configurations align with accounting and compliance standards.
Develop a strong understanding of company financial processes and help identify areas for system improvement.
Keep current with NetSuite best practices, especially related to financial modules.

What you will bring:
Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP, particularly financial modules and workflows.
Basic understanding of accounting concepts and financial processes.
Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk.
Ability to support integrations using APIs or middleware tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with financial data.
Clear communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Excel and handling structured financial information.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.
2–4 years of hands-on NetSuite development or administration experience.
Experience supporting or configuring NetSuite financial modules.
Working knowledge of SuiteScript, JavaScript, HTML, or SQL.
Experience supporting ERP or accounting system functionality and integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with finance teams or financial operations.
Experience in a shared services or matrix environment.
