NetSuite Payroll & HRIS Administrator

Position Summary:

The HRIS & Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll. This role supports HR operations and Finance by maintaining employee data, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the HRIS by regularly auditing and reconciling records.
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports for HR, finance, and management.
  • Support system upgrades, implementations, and testing.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members and other departments on HRIS functionality.

Payroll Administration:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for all employees in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Validate timesheets, leave records, and compensation data prior to payroll processing.
  • Ensure proper tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts in coordination with the finance team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and labor laws.
  • Maintain and archive payroll records and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to HR and payroll functions.

Support & Communication:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless operations and data consistency.
  • Suggest process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy in HRIS and payroll workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HRIS and payroll administration.
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Solid understanding of payroll practices, tax laws, and employment legislation.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
