About the role
Design, deploy and maintain reliable, secure LAN/WAN and campus network infrastructure; provide day‑to‑day network administration and support to ensure high availability and performance across offices and data centres in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support core, distribution and access layer devices (routers, switches, VLANs, STP).
• Manage WAN connectivity, SD‑WAN/MPLS, VPNs and carrier relationships.
• Implement and maintain network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, segmentation).
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Deploy and manage wireless networks (controllers, APs), ensure coverage and capacity.
• Maintain network documentation: topology diagrams, IP addressing schemas and change logs.
• Perform firmware/patch upgrades, backups, and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Support network automation and scripting (Ansible, Python) for repeatable tasks.
• Provide on‑call support and coordinate with vendors for escalations and warranty issues.
• Collaborate with security, systems and cloud teams for hybrid networking and integrations.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Network Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years’ experience in enterprise network administration/engineering; GCC/Doha experience preferred.
• Hands‑on with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba/HPE or equivalent networking vendors.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), switching, VLANs, QoS and wireless technologies.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and network monitoring tools.
• Scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible) and familiarity with network management tools advantageous.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, Aruba ACSP) preferred.
• Good problem‑solving, documentation and communication skills.
• Valid work authorisation for Qatar.

Pay: QAR1,000.50 - QAR1,250.50 per month
