Network Engineer

Job Title: NETWORK ENGINEER (3 Years Experience)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

· Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VoIP gateway, VPN, QoS)

· Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations

· Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability

· Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

· Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

· Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security protocols

· Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

· Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve all network-related issues

· Perform thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

· Provide technical support to internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruption of services

Technical Requirements:

· Proficiency in Networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba)

· Hands-on working knowledge of Firewall technologies (Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco)

· Installation and maintenance of IP Telephony (Cisco, Avaya, Grandstream)

Certifications:

Cisco , Fortinet

Education:
BSc Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field with excellent communication.
