Role Summary
Responsible for administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure, security systems, Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 services, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and end-user computing environments. Provides Tier 1–3 IT support ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Administration
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, and access control.
- Administer Cisco and Aruba switches, including VLAN configuration, trunking, and port management.
- Support Aruba wireless access points, troubleshoot wireless connectivity and authentication issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and enterprise network connectivity.
- Support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco IP Phones, including endpoint registration and VoIP troubleshooting.
Windows Server and Core Infrastructure Support
- Administer Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016 environments.
- Manage Active Directory Domain Services, including users, groups, GPO, and authentication troubleshooting.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IIS Web Server, File Server, and Application Server roles.
- Monitor server performance, apply updates, and troubleshoot system and service failures.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, including user provisioning, license management, and access control.
- Troubleshoot Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint issues.
- Resolve authentication, mailbox access, and application connectivity issues.
Virtualization and Storage Support
- Support VMware vSphere infrastructure, including VM deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Administer and troubleshoot Synology NAS and HPE SAN storage systems.
- Ensure storage availability and connectivity across enterprise infrastructure.
Desktop Support and End-User IT Support
- Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support for Windows 10/11 and macOS systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues.
- Configure desktops, laptops, printers, and domain-joined systems.
- Support Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 applications, and enterprise software.
Network and Infrastructure Monitoring & Incident Resolution
- Monitor network devices, servers, and infrastructure performance.
- Troubleshoot network, server, storage, and endpoint connectivity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure incidents.
- Maintain IT documentation and coordinate with vendors when required.
