Job Summary: The Network Engineer (L3) is a senior-level role responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of advanced network solutions. The role involves managing complex network infrastructure projects, providing Level 3 support for critical incidents, and ensuring compliance with performance and security standards. The projects primarily focus on Cisco Nexus Data Center Networking, Nexus Dashboard for VxLAN fabric, Fortigate Data Center Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers with WAF, and Checkpoint Firewalls for perimeter security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A diploma in a relevant field is also acceptable with significant experience in network technologies.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network engineering, including project deployments and advanced troubleshooting.
• Expert-level knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard for VxLAN fabric.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortigate Firewalls in data center environments.
• Proficiency with F5 Load Balancers, including Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations.
• Deep knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls for perimeter security.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects and mentor junior team members.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
