Network Engineer / Consultant

This role requires the employee to live in the Cleveland, OH area. This will be a remote role.

Role and Responsibilities:

Work as a Field Network Engineer who has some experience working with a Managed Service Provider, architecting, monitoring, and maintaining client technology network, cloud, and server infrastructure.
Serve as a Technology Advisor, meeting frequently to discuss opportunities to improve the client’s environment with the latest technology, including CyberSecurity and cloud-based solutions to support customer goals.
Balance multiple customers’ requests, smaller projects, and necessary meetings while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
Flexibility for working after business hours and weekends is required at times.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with customer support in the field of computer systems, servers, and networking in a Managed Services or similar computer consulting field.
Candidates should have strong skills in the following: Network skill sets, configuring maintaining, and other vendors (i.e., SonicWall, Meraki) firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Microsoft M365 range of products focusing on messaging and security solutions. Current certifications in any of these technologies will be highly considered.
Experience with Sage 300 CRE would be very helpful but not required for this role.
Other skills such as SAGE 300 & 100, Linux, SAN Storage, Mobile deployments, FACTS, and Disaster Recovery would-be a plus but not required.
Willing to travel locally 1-2 days a week may be required but the ability to work and solve most technical issues through remote support is a must.
