Network Engineering Senior Specialist (contractor)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

• Deploying and managing the network between GPC and all Central banks in Gulf region for Money transaction with Commercials banks.
• Act as technical mentor and team lead to develop cyber security technical expertise to secure the network with Central banks and all branches.
• Assume leadership role in assigned projects for network and security to perform the business need and goals, and ensuring project delivered as designed on time.
• Design, install and troubleshoot network equipment and/or software on Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
• Configuring IPsec VPN with its Various Form such as Site to Site VPN & DMVPN.
• Advanced TCP/IP, routing, switching.
• Implementation of IGP Routing with Various design such as (OSPF – EIGRP-BGP).
• Due diligence of existing client’s solution, analyzing physical topology, logical interconnectivity, service dependency, application flows and security constraints.
• Creating designs and support documentation for the delivered infrastructure.
• Raising change records and executing activity while adhering to client’s processes and procedures
• Responsible for a designated set of network security tools and the security functionality of these tools, such as web application firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web proxies.
• Oversee functionality of network security systems to ensure security policies are being withheld including internet browsing restrictions and software downloads.
• Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of security systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-7 years of professional experience in Network or any other related areas.
• Bachelor or Master of Information System or Computer Science, any professional certificates are preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Experience implementing of the Cisco Datacenter technology: Nexus OS 7k,9k,
• Experience as a backline escalation contact with demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot network.
• Proven expertise with Network Security, Routing/switching, DNS, Proxy/caching services, SSL/VPN, Content-filtering, Network Access Control.
• Experience with Cisco Wireless solutions.
• Experience in VoIP technologies, including Cisco CUCM and Session Border Controllers (SBC).
• Experience in load balancing technologies and solutions.
• Experience in Cloud Networking (Azure-AWS)
• Strong knowledge and experience in banking, money transfer environment and financial sector.
• Deep experience and knowledge in Fortinet (FortiGate, Forti analyzer, FortiClient -EMS, and FortiManager)
• Deep experience and knowledge in Palo-Alto Networks (Firewalls – Panorama)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
