Network Monitoring Analyst

Job Title: Observability Architect/Elasticsearch Architect/Splunk / ELK Monitoring Architect- Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Observability Architect / ELK Specialist to design, implement, and optimize enterprise observability solutions across distributed systems and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) along with modern monitoring and telemetry tools to enable proactive system monitoring, logging, and performance optimization. This role will work closely with DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, and application teams to build scalable observability frameworks that improve system reliability, troubleshooting efficiency, and operational visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise observability architecture using ELK Stack and related monitoring tools.
  • Build scalable logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Implement centralized logging pipelines using Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats .
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor application performance and system health.
  • Integrate observability solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and container platforms like Kubernetes and Docker .
  • Implement distributed tracing and telemetry frameworks using tools such as OpenTelemetry or Prometheus.
  • Optimize data ingestion pipelines and improve log indexing and search performance .
  • Define SLIs, SLOs, and monitoring strategies to improve service reliability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed observability into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues using logs, metrics, and traces.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) .
  • Experience designing enterprise observability or monitoring platforms .
  • Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Splunk .
  • Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) .
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) .
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages .
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab .
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing observability frameworks in microservices architectures .
  • Familiarity with APM tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic .
  • Experience with log data pipelines and event streaming tools like Kafka .
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation .
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or observability tools are a plus.
