Job Summary
We are hiring a Network Security Engineer (
Cisco ISE Specialist)
to design, implement, and support secure
Network Access Control (NAC)
solutions in enterprise environments across Qatar. The role requires strong expertise in Cisco ISE, identity-based access control, and integration with enterprise security systems, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design, deploy, and manage
Cisco ISE (2.x / 3.x)
infrastructure.
-
Implement
NAC policies
for wired, wireless, and VPN access.
-
Configure
AAA services
using RADIUS and TACACS+.
-
Deploy and manage:
-
802.1X authentication
-
MAB (MAC Authentication Bypass)
-
Guest/BYOD portals
-
Endpoint posture compliance
-
Integrate Cisco ISE with:
-
Active Directory / LDAP
-
SIEM solutions
-
Firewalls and VPN gateways
-
Cisco DNA Center (if applicable)
-
Perform
policy design, segmentation, and role-based access control (RBAC)
.
-
Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and posture issues.
-
Handle system upgrades, patches, and backup/recovery.
-
Ensure compliance with
Qatar regulatory and security standards
(where applicable).
-
Prepare technical documentation and reports.
-
Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on-call rotations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
-
9–15 years of experience in
network security / NAC
.

Strong hands-on experience with
Cisco ISE deployments and operations
.
-
Deep understanding of:
-
802.1X, EAP protocols
-
RADIUS / TACACS+
-
VLANs, segmentation, and access control policies
-
Experience with:
-
Cisco Catalyst switches
-
Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
-
Next-gen firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
-
Knowledge of:
-
Active Directory, LDAP
-
PKI and certificate-based authentication
-
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Certifications
-
CCIE Security ( Mandatory)
-
Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Identity Management (ISE)
-
ITIL Foundation (preferred for enterprise environments)
Qatar-Specific Requirements (Important)

Prior
GCC/Qatar experience preferred

Experience working on
government / telecom / oil & gas projects
is a strong advantage

Knowledge of
local compliance frameworks
is a plus

Ability to work in
multi-vendor environments

Experience with
Cisco DNA Center / SDA (Software-Defined Access)

Knowledge of
Zero Trust Architecture

Automation skills (Python, Ansible)
