Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and monitor secure network systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to safeguard organizational infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Security Design: Architect and implement secure network infrastructures.
• Firewall Management: Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Threat Monitoring: Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, breaches, and suspicious activity.
• Incident Response: Investigate and resolve security incidents promptly.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO, NIST, and GCC regulatory frameworks.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations, incidents, and audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Proficiency in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in GCC IT environments preferred.

Pay: Up to RO2,200.000 per month
