Network & Security Engineer (Netskope SD-WAN)

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and securing enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Netskope SSE and Netskope SD-WAN, along with deep knowledge of routing, switching, secure access, and modern SASE architectures.

This role focuses on maintaining high network performance, enforcing a strong security posture, and supporting large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise environments aligned with cloud-first connectivity and zero-trust security strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network and security solutions across hybrid, cloud, and remote environments.
• Implement, configure, and manage Netskope SSE components, including:
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Deploy and optimize Netskope SD-WAN solutions to enhance WAN resiliency, application performance, and secure branch connectivity.
• Integrate SASE architecture, aligning Netskope SD-WAN with Netskope SSE for unified security and networking.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across LAN/WAN.
• Manage secure remote access, site-to-site VPNs, and cloud connectivity.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, access controls, and threat prevention mechanisms following zero-trust principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability, compliance, and resilience.
• Monitor network performance and security events using analytics and monitoring tools.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies, cloud security trends, and evolving threat landscapes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise network and security engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Netskope SSE and Netskope SD-WAN deployments and operations.
• Solid understanding of SASE, SSE, and Zero Trust security models.
• Strong command of routing and switching technologies (Cisco IOS / IOS-XE / NX-OS).
• Experience with multi-vendor network and security platforms, including:
• Cisco (Routers, Switches, Meraki)
• Fortinet or Palo Alto (firewalls – desirable)
• In-depth knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• VLANs, NAT, QoS
• VPNs (IPsec / SSL)
• Experience with network monitoring and security analytics tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Netskope Analytics, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Certifications (One or More)

• Netskope Certifications (SSE / SD-WAN – highly preferred)
• Cisco: CCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security / CCIE
• Security+: CISSP
• SASE / Zero Trust vendor certifications
