Role Summary

The Network Support Engineer (L2/L3) is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role focuses on day-to-day network operations, resolving complex incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting, leading network upgrades and migrations, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of network services.

Key Responsibilities

o Perform day-to-day operations for network and security-related tasks.

o Resolve complex and critical network incidents and escalations.

o Provide advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security components.

o Support and execute network upgrades, migrations, and major infrastructure changes.

o Implement and maintain network policies, standards, and best practices.

o Perform proactive monitoring, network health checks, and performance optimization.

o Ensure high availability, redundancy, and resilience of network services.

o Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements.

Technical Skills & Competencies

o Advanced routing and switching expertise.

o Strong understanding of networking and security concepts.

o Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

o VPN technologies: large-scale SSL and IPsec VPN deployments across routing and security platforms.

o Knowledge of DNS, F5 LTM/GTM, Email security, Network Access Control (NAC).

o Network performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization.

o AAA Servers concepts and management.

o Knowledge of Azure networking and security components, VNETs, Routing, NSGs, firewalls.

Experience & Qualifications

o 6–10+ years of experience in enterprise network support or operations.

o Proven experience supporting complex network and security environments.

o Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

o Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, and Azure Networking/Security are preferred.

o Ability to work across network and security domains with clear ownership and escalation awareness.

Pay: QAR7,500.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
