Neurofeedback Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with people and have strong customer service skills. This role involves providing therapeutic support in a clinical setting, focusing on various aspects of mental health, including psychotherapy and counseling for chronic pain and mental health. The Technician will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients (Training on-site). You will be required to connect clients to an EEG machine and run the computer program.

Duties

• Provide behavioral therapy and psychotherapy to children and adolescents in a clinical environment.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on ICD-10 guidelines.
• Offer counseling services addressing chronic pain management.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance therapeutic practices.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.

Experience

• Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children, is preferred .
• Familiarity with psychotherapy techniques and clinical research methodologies.
• Experience in counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
• A degree is desirable, but not necessary.
