Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert neurological care, diagnose complex neurological conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through precise assessments, innovative interventions, and compassionate care delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing neurological health. Outpatient only. No Call.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough neurological evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments such as neuroimaging and electrophysiological studies.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques like CT scans and MRI to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Manage outpatient cases, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, psychiatrists, ophthalmologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as lumbar punctures, EMG/nerve conduction studies, Botox treatments for spasticity or migraines, and other interventional techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems for efficient documentation.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of neurology principles, physiology, and clinical evaluation techniques.
  • Proficiency with medical imaging modalities including CT scans, MRI, and nuclear medicine relevant to neurological diagnosis.
  • Experience with EHR systems such as ECW platform for documentation and patient management.
  • Familiarity with related specialties including psychiatry, ophthalmology, endocrinology, cardiology, rheumatology, infectious disease care, and pain medicine to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and education about complex neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to neurological procedures is advantageous. Join us in delivering innovative neurological care that transforms lives!
