Neurologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our Super Specialty team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and neuromuscular system, while ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, headaches, neuropathies, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Perform and interpret neurological investigations such as EEG, EMG, NCV, and other neuro-diagnostic tests.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Manage acute neurological emergencies including stroke thrombolysis and status epilepticus.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical audits.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Guide and mentor junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and NABH standards.

Qualification & Experience

• DM / DNB in Neurology from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration with NMC / State Medical Council.
• Minimum 3–8 years of post-qualification experience preferred.
• Experience in handling critical neurological cases in a tertiary care hospital setup.
