Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations and assessments to diagnose conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing pharmacological therapies, neurostimulation techniques, and minimally invasive procedures
  • Utilize advanced medical imaging technologies including MRI, CT scans, and PET scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Manage complex cases involving neurocritical care, airway management, and perioperative care for neurosurgical patients
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, psychiatrists, ophthalmologists, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks or botulinum toxin treatments when indicated
  • Maintain accurate medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Engage in ongoing clinical research to stay abreast of emerging treatments and contribute to the advancement of neurological sciences

Experience

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in neurology
  • Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient neurology settings within a Level I trauma center or similar high-acuity environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or other electronic health record platforms
  • Strong knowledge of neuroimaging techniques including MRI, CT, nuclear medicine imaging, and diagnostic radiology interpretation
  • Experience managing neurocritical care cases involving ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and post-operative care
  • Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures related to neurology such as catheterization or neurovascular interventions
  • Knowledge of medical coding (CPT/ICD) for billing purposes related to neurological procedures and diagnoses
  • Additional expertise in specialties such as psychiatry, ophthalmology, endocrinology, or cardiology is a plus for comprehensive patient management
  • Prior involvement in clinical trials or research projects focusing on neurological diseases is highly desirable
