Neurology Tchnician

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Electroencephalography (EEG) procedures.
• Assist in Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) studies.
• Conduct Evoked Potential studies (VEP, BAER, SSEP) as required.
• Prepare patients for neuro-diagnostic procedures and explain test protocols.
• Ensure proper electrode placement and machine calibration.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormalities immediately.
• Maintain and sanitize neurology equipment and accessories.
• Record, document, and maintain patient test data accurately.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for patient scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols. Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for the position of Neurology Technician.

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Neuro Technology / Neurophysiology Technology / Allied Health Sciences
• Relevant certification in EEG/EMG/NCV procedures preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a recognized hospital (Freshers may also apply, if required)
• Experience in handling EEG,EMG, NCV, Evoked Potential studies.

Skills Required:

• Good technical and analytical skills
• Ability to handle neuro-diagnostic equipment
• Good communication and patient care skills

Salary: As per institutional norms (negotiable based on experience)
