Job Description

Adams Dallas Clinical Research aims to enhance mental health and quality of life through high-quality clinical research. Adams Clinical is a research site network specializing in late-phase psychiatry and neurology clinical trials focusing on Phase I-IV drug development trials for CNS and mental health disorders.

We specialize in conditions like ADHD, Alzheimer's Disease, Bipolar Disorder, Chemical Dependency, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Tardive Dyskinesia, and more.

We seek a motivated and organized individual with strong customer service skills and a passion for mental health to join our team as a Neuropsychological Rater.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Screening & Enrollment: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, screening interviews, and rating scale assessments to determine participant eligibility for clinical trials
  • Neuropsychiatric Ratings & Assessments: Administer validated psychiatric rating scales (e.g., PANSS, MADRS, YMRS, CGI) and monitor patient progress
  • Collaboration: Work closely with investigators, raters, and coordinators to ensure study compliance and participant safety

Clinical Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct psychiatric care experience, including diagnostic evaluations, rating scale administration, and patient care in mental health settings
  • Comfort managing complex psychiatric presentations, particularly schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
  • Experience with psychopharmacology and psychiatric assessments required

Job Requirements

  • Licensed NP or PA in the state of Texas
  • Direct clinical experience in psychiatry, with a focus on bipolar disorder and schizophrenia populations
  • Experience administering psychiatric rating scales and performing differential diagnoses is strongly preferred
  • Prior exposure to clinical research or neuropsychiatric assessments is a plus; training will be provided
  • This role is not suited for recent graduates without prior psychiatric clinical experience

Job Type: Full-Time / Salaried

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift / Some Evenings
