The Position

We are seeking a part-time Neurotherapy and Clinic Assistant to provide both direct and administrative support for our neurotherapy program and clinic operations. This position does not involve work in the supplement store.

The role is ideal for a graduate student or recent graduate in neuroscience, psychology, social work, or another mental health–related field who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in an innovative clinical setting.

The position primarily includes late afternoon, early evening, and some weekend hours to help expand our clinic’s availability for school-age children and working adults who train after school or work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct neurotherapy sessions, including neuromodulation, qEEG brain mapping, and related integrative therapies (training provided).
  • Support clinical staff with administrative and organizational tasks, such as patient scheduling, data entry, and maintaining clinic supplies.
  • Prepare equipment and rooms for neurotherapy sessions.
  • Help ensure smooth clinic operations by assisting the patient care coordinator and front desk as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Participate in creating training materials and clinical documentation for staff and educational use.

Work Schedule

  • Part-time, primarily late afternoon and early evening hours.
  • Some weekend hours may be required to accommodate patients who can only attend sessions outside traditional work or school hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate-level coursework or enrollment in a related program (neuroscience, psychology, social work, counseling, or health sciences) is preferred.
  • At least one year of professional or volunteer experience in a clinical, research, or mental health setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology and electronic record systems.
  • A genuine interest in integrative and neuroscience-based approaches to mental health care.
  • Preference for candidates interested in a long-term commitment, given the extensive neurotherapy training provided.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Empathetic and patient, especially with individuals managing chronic or complex conditions.
  • Curious and motivated to learn about innovative and holistic treatments.
  • Professional and composed in a collaborative clinic environment.
  • Committed to wellness, self-care, and professional growth.
