Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and energetic New Custom Home Residential Architect / Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a part of the design process for bespoke residential projects, transforming client visions into detailed, buildable plans. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure designs are innovative, functional, and aligned with budget and schedule goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape luxurious homes while utilizing your expertise in cutting-edge design tools and construction knowledge.

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs for custom residential homes using Revit, Enscape, etc.
• Create comprehensive construction documents that meet code requirements and client specifications.
• Coordinate project schedules from design through construction phases, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
• Collaborate with clients during design presentations and negotiations to refine project scope and expectations.
• Assist in construction estimating and budgeting to align design intent with project financials.
• Use Bluebeam for document review, markups, and project collaboration across teams.
• Support business development efforts by preparing compelling proposals and engaging in client meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential architecture or architectural design specializing in custom homes or renovation projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and Enscape.
• Strong understanding of construction processes including construction management, estimating, budgeting, and contracts.
• Skilled in project scheduling and project management software to oversee multiple phases efficiently.
• Knowledge of interior design principles relevant to residential projects.
• Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and vendor negotiations.
• Ability to draft detailed drawings and specifications that adhere to building codes and standards.
• Experience with renovation projects is a plus; enthusiasm for high-performance building practices is preferred.
