NEW VENDOR DEVELOPMENT ( NVD)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic New Vendor Developer (NVD) who will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing new vendors to support company operations and events. The role involves market research, vendor scouting, negotiation, and ensuring vendors meet company standards of quality, pricing, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential new vendors, suppliers, and service providers across categories.
• Approach, meet, and develop relationships with new vendors to expand the vendor base.
• Evaluate vendors on the basis of pricing, quality, reliability, and capacity.
• Negotiate and finalize rates, contracts, and payment terms with new vendors.
• Ensure new vendor onboarding process is completed (documentation, compliance, agreements).
• Maintain updated records of vendor contacts, service details, and pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, accounts, and event teams to fulfill project requirements.
• Explore innovative and cost-effective vendor options to optimize expenses.
• Conduct market visits, vendor audits, and inspections as required.
• Generate reports on new vendors developed, cost savings, and quality improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of procurement and vendor evaluation processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong market research and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for vendor scouting and meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in vendor development, sourcing, or procurement (event/entertainment/hospitality preferred).
• Freshers with strong networking and negotiation skills may also apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
