Duties

• Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, dermabrasion, Laser Hair Removal, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Deliver personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments and products.
• Manage appointment scheduling and client records using salon software such as SPABOOKER by MINDBODY to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards in accordance with state regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct product demos and educate clients on skincare routines, retail products, and new treatment options to promote retail sales.
• Engage actively with clients through social media management to build relationships, promote services, and grow the client base.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting guests, managing bookings, and supporting guest services to ensure an exceptional experience for every visitor.
• Upsell additional treatments such as microdermabrasion or dermaplaning to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.
• Stay informed about the latest esthetic techniques like laser treatments, tattooing removal, color theory for makeup application, and straight razor grooming for barbering services.
• Collaborate with team members on management tasks and contribute to a positive salon environment that emphasizes hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Esthetician license is required.
• Proven experience in esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), eyelash extensions, body waxing, laser treatments.
• Strong management skills with familiarity using salon management systems such as SPA BOOKER by MINDBODY.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about skincare products and procedures.
• Knowledge of social media management strategies for marketing services and engaging clients online.
• Commitment to sanitation protocols and safety standards within a professional spa or salon environment.
• Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and product demonstrations to enhance client satisfaction.
• Ability to perform advanced esthetic procedures including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, laser treatments, tattoo removal techniques, and Med Spa services if applicable.
• Skilled in customer service with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty among clients.
• We are a very busy and well established spa in Port Washington (Long Island), currently hiring for 2 skin specialist position only. Part time/full time. This is a very rewarding position with all the fun and career growth. Avg $25+ per hour. (Average calculated from hourly + commission + tips)

-Must have at least 2 years of experience in facials or facial treatments.
-Must be licensed esthetician/cosmetologist in New York.
-Like to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
-Good interpersonal skills, people oriented.
-Able to work flexible days.
-Have basic computer skills. Some social media experience.
-Sales superstar, experience in sales and good communication skills
-Have steady hands and good eyesight. Detail oriented.
