Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Compensation: $30–$45 per hour
Duration: 3–4 month contract (September–December/January)
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week + retainer

Overview:
A family in Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) for overnight support with their infant, who will be 7–8 weeks old at the start of care. This is a short-term contract position ideal for someone with strong newborn experience and a professional, supportive approach.

Responsibilities:

• Overnight care for newborn (staying in nursery)
• Assist with breastfeeding support (bringing baby to mom for feedings)
• Bottle preparation and sterilization of bottles/pump parts
• Diaper changes and maintaining diapering area
• Baby’s laundry and restocking supplies
• Emptying diaper pail/Diaper Genie
• Implementing sleep training and safe sleep practices
• General newborn care and support

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Newborn Care Specialist
• Knowledgeable in breastfeeding support and newborn routines
• Calm, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Strong understanding of safe sleep practices
• Professional and able to work overnight shifts consistently

Requirements:

• 18+ years old
• Prior NCS/newborn experience required
• Strong references
• Ability to pass a background check
