Happy Baby Night Nurses LLC is a premium overnight newborn care agency providing expert postpartum and infant care to families in their homes. We exclusively hire Registered Nurses (RNs) with maternal-child experience to support families during the most important, sweet, (and exhausting) season of life.

Already servicing families in Florida and Texas, and now we are excited to expand into Nashville, TN and are seeking compassionate, dependable RNs who are passionate about newborn care and supporting families overnight.

Position Overview

As an Overnight Newborn Care RN (Night Nurse), you will provide professional, in-home care while parents rest. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours overnight and may begin around 8:00PM, 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM, depending on family preference. (12 hour shifts are 8pm-8am).

This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible, meaningful work with families- without the demands of bedside hospital care.

Responsibilities - we are non-medical and only offer basic infant caregiving support.

• Provide attentive overnight care for newborns
• Feeding support (breastfeeding support or bottle feeding, as directed by family)
• Diaper changes, soothing, swaddling, and comforting
• Foster healthy sleep habits and safe sleep practices
• Wash and sanitize bottles and pump parts
• Maintain detailed nightly logs of feedings, diaper changes, and baby’s temperament
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents
• Remain awake and alert for the duration of the shift (please note nurses are allowed to take a light nap for 45 minutes if your shift is 11-12 hours)
• Fold baby/kid laundry
• Provide newborn education to new parents if parents have questions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum/Mother-Baby, NICU, or Pediatrics strongly preferred
• Current CPR and BLS certifications (NRP, PALS, or other certifications a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, calm, and compassionate bedside manner
• Comfortable working independently overnight in a family’s home
• Minimum 4 shift requirement per month
• Have a strong love for Mother/Baby postpartum care!

• Overnight shifts (10–12 hours)
