Newegg is thrilled to launch our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This year, we are elevating the experience by selecting 10 highly motivated college students to dive deep into two specialized tracks: AI & Tech Innovation and Digital Marketing & Media.

This intensive six week program is designed for university students who already possess foundational knowledge in their fields and are ready to embrace complex, real world challenges. As a Newegg intern, you won't just be shadowing, you will actively build, design, and execute initiatives that impact our massive global gamer community and shape the future of tech retail.

The Two Tracks

Track 1: AI & Tech Innovation

Focus: AI integration, Website/UX Design, and Gamer Community platforms.

• Build with AI: Collaborate on cutting edge AI projects designed to optimize the customer journey, enhance search recommendations, and personalize content across Newegg's platforms.
• Design for the User: Assist in website design and UI/UX improvements, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging experience for our tech-savvy audience.
• Empower the Gamer Community: Work directly on platforms and features that connect, engage, and grow our dedicated gaming communities.

Track 2: Digital Marketing & Media

Focus: Performance Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Video Editing, and Event Marketing.

• Drive Performance: Dive into performance marketing data, assisting the team with campaign tracking, ROI analysis, and optimization strategies.
• Create Viral Content: Lead social media content development and video editing projects (for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) that resonate with PC builders and gamers.
• Execute Events: Support the planning and execution of high-impact event marketing initiatives, from community tournaments to product launch showcases.

Who You Are

• Education: A current undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
• Availability: Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site at our Diamond Bar headquarters for six consecutive weeks.
• Experience & Skills (Track 1): Active in gaming communities (Discord, Reddit, etc.) with a strong grasp of gamer culture, trends, and community‑driven content. Solid understanding of AI tools/concepts, proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R), or experience with web design platforms (Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience & Skills (Track 2): Hands-on experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut), an understanding of performance marketing metrics, and a pulse on current social media trends.
• Mindset: A creative problem-solver with strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for gaming, PC hardware, and the creator economy.

Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.

Physical Functions: Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant keyboarding and telephone usage.
