Minella Law Group, APC is looking for a newly barred attorney who is eager to learn, develop strong litigation skills, and become a confident advocate in family law. We offer hands-on training, direct mentorship, and a clear path to professional growth within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a newly licensed California attorney with an interest in family law who wants practical experience immediately. You will work directly with seasoned attorneys and gain exposure to hearings, mediation, legal strategy, and client management.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys with hearings, mediation prep, and case strategy
• Draft declarations, RFOs, pleadings, discovery, and legal research memos
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff professionally
• Attend hearings and mediations as training progresses
• Support attorneys in trial preparation
• Maintain case calendars and workflow in MyCase

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Interest in family law litigation
• Excellent organization and communication
• Eagerness to learn and grow quickly
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Professionalism and a positive attitude
