News Reporter

We are seeking a passionate and driven News Journalist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in research, reporting, and storytelling, with the ability to create content that resonates with a global audience. This role requires covering breaking news, conducting interviews, and producing fact-based, impactful stories across digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, investigate, and write news articles, features, and opinion pieces.
• Conduct insightful interviews with sources, experts, and public figures.
• Ensure accuracy, credibility, and fairness through thorough fact-checking.
• Adapt stories for online platforms, social media, and multimedia formats.
• Collaborate with editors, video teams, and designers to produce engaging content.
• Stay up to date with current events, political trends, and social issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in news writing, editing, or reporting.
• Strong grasp of political, social, and global affairs.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and digital journalism tools.
• Multimedia skills (video scripting, social media content, or podcasting) will be an advantage.
